About Valerie
I’ve called Pensacola home for more than 40 years and have been licensed in real estate since 2013. I help people buy and sell homes across the Gulf Coast, with clear communication and the local questions answered early.

How I found this work
My path into real estate started with my own family’s first home. I had spent fifteen years at home raising six children, and I was looking for work that would be fulfilling. When we qualified to buy our first house, I didn’t stay on the sidelines. I talked with our agent, talked with the listing agent, and helped work through the negotiation. I enjoyed every bit of it.
That experience made the decision for me. I earned my license on August 5, 2013, and began my career at Main Street Properties, where the agents welcomed me and the brokers trained me well. They will always be part of my story. My license has stayed active every year since.
My family moved to Pensacola when I was in fifth grade, so this coast is the place I know best. Over time I added an Alabama license, so I can help clients on both sides of the state line.
“I love to be a part of the next step of their journey, of where they will call home.”
How I work
What I value most is being a positive part of someone’s next step, whether that’s a first home, a move, a sale or an investment, and the relationships that last well beyond closing.
I’m based in Pensacola and affiliated with AXEN Realty, and I work across four counties: Escambia, Santa Rosa and Okaloosa in Florida, and Baldwin in Alabama.
Communication comes first. A move is full of small decisions that can’t wait a week for a reply, so I answer quickly and keep you informed without you having to chase me.
Preparation comes next. Most surprises in a coastal transaction are predictable if someone asks the right question early. What flood zone is this? Is it inside city limits? How old is the roof, and what will an insurer ask for? I would rather raise those questions at the start than discover them at the closing table.
And local context matters. Perdido Key and Crestview are in the same region, but they are very different places to own a home. So are downtown Pensacola and Fairhope. I help you see those differences clearly before you choose.
“Valerie went out of her way to answer all of your questions even regarding who to contact for water, power, etc… Since we were in Texas, she did all the legwork for us. She works long hours.”

Moving from a distance
Some of the people I help aren’t here yet. Some are relocating for work or military orders. Others are buying a second home, or selling a property they no longer live near.
For them, I become the person on the ground: touring, asking, coordinating inspections and repairs, and sorting out practical details like which utility to call. The goal is that you can make confident decisions without being in the room for every step.

A Gulf Coast perspective
Pensacola is home base. From here the service area runs west across the state line to Orange Beach, Gulf Shores and the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay, and east through Gulf Breeze and Navarre to Fort Walton Beach, Destin and Crestview.
Holding licenses in both states means a buyer weighing Perdido Key against Orange Beach, or Pensacola against Fairhope, can work with one agent across the whole comparison.
“We found our dream home in Pensacola!… She went above and beyond every step of the way.”

A short consultation is the easiest first step. You’ll leave with a clearer picture, whatever you decide.
